Details

South Lockleaze & Purdown Neighbourhood Group are inviting you to join us for a “History of Purdown” walk on 25th February, to find out about the facinating history of Purdown!
Our group will be led by Steve England, showing us hidden monuments along the Purdown ridge, share information about the WW2 gun emplacements and the history of Heath House.
Who’s this for?

This event is aimed at residents located in South Lockleaze, Eastville & around Purdown, and would love for you to come and learn about what’s on your doorstep.
Up to 2 hours of walking across Purdown involved. Not suitable for pushchairs (unless off-roaders!) Walk may be muddy & we suggest wellies/walking boots! Please wear suitable attire for the weather 🙂
We really hope this is something you enjoy and please do share with your family & neighbours to help spread the word!
