Forest School sessions take place in The Old Library garden on the second Sunday of every month. These are two hour sessions, open to 6-10 year olds, who can be dropped off and collected at the end of the session.
Each session will be focussed on what is happening in nature in the Old Library garden. We’ll be telling stories, singing songs, playing games, doing nature inspired craft activities and learning about the creatures and plants that live around us. We’ll also be having a campfire (weather permitting) and snacks.
Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. We recommend waterproof trousers and coats throughout the winter even if it isn’t actually raining as they provide protection from cold, wind, mud, scratches and scrapes.
We ask for a suggested donation of £10 per session, but we are able to offer spaces on a pay what you can afford basis. We would prefer cash on the day if possible, but we also accept Paypal (details in the confirmation email) and can arrange alternative payment methods if needed.
To join our mailing list to stay up to date about future sessions, please send us an email on forestschoolattheoldlibrary@gmail.com.
This session is now fully booked.
