Our Vision and Mission

WHO ARE WE?

We are South Lockleaze & Purdown Neighbourhood Group C.I.C. We are a group of passionate residents who aim to build a more social, safe and strong community within the heart of North Bristol.  We have taken on Eastville Library as a community space, and need your help to turn this vision into reality.

OUR VISION?

The vision is to provide a space where we can gather, learn, socialise and share. This grassroots project is being driven solely by volunteers, and aims to be fully independent and self-sufficient in the long run. We want to empower our community to make positive changes by providing the resources our neighbourhood truly wants and needs.

OUR MISSION?

We need as much help from the local community as possible to make our vision a reality. Everyone can be a volunteer, everyone can give and everyone can receive. We urge you to lend a hand, see where you can help, find gaps where you could fill, recognise what you need from the project and help make them happen.

This is not just a small group of people providing a community centre for the masses – it’s about everyone coming together, sharing, receiving, giving, learning & inspiring others – giving what you can, taking only what you need, & continuing to ensure that we all have a friendly, social, calm & kind space to be a part of.
