We hire the Old Library for:

Parties, gatherings, social events
Private activities, classes
Workshops, talks, discussions
Ad-hoc and weekly/monthly

You can privately hire the space:

Monday, Thursday & Friday – from 4pm

Tuesday & Wednesday – All day + evening available

Saturday & Sunday – All day + evening available

Basil’s community cafe on Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays term time 9 – 3pm. The space is NOT available to hire during theses times. The space is available for hire on these days during term holidays when the cafe is closed.

However if you have an activity that would be open to the public and benefits the community, we may also be able to fit you in on a public opening day when our cafe is open– just get in touch!
