A night of Live Music at the Old Library Community space featuring Punk covers from the Mutoids & music from the Brunel Field Rock Project, the Layers & local Fairfield School special guests.
The Mutoids (9:45pm)
Back by popular demand, our headliners “The Mutoids” have a high energy set including punk gems by the Ramones, the Members, the Buzzcocks and many more.
The Layers (8:30pm)
The layers are a 5 piece band with an eclectic range of original music, whose influences include progressive rock through to funk and pop. Currently working on their third album, they have attracte comparisons to REM, Gim Blossoms and the Police. Musically you can expect melodic pop rock characterised by strong vocal harmonies and meaningful lyrics.
Fairfield School Special Guests (7:30pm)
Appearing will be singer-songwriter Isabel Slocombe and others (TBC)
Brunel Field Rock Project (7pm)
They may be young but these kids may just be the future of rock with their take on some rock standards including some tunes from the Thin, White Duke.
