Pitchfork Cafe – Surplus Supper

Date/Time

Date(s) - 20/03/2019
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Details

For the 2nd Pitchfork Cafe installment of 2019 we’ll be heading to The Old Library in Eastville and creating a feast primarily using ingredients that would normally be going to waste.

The menu will be a bit or a surprise as we wont know what produce we’ll get until near the time, but we hope by now you’ll trust us to make some tasty stuff!

Tickets for this one will be on a sliding scale and advance only, from £5 to £20, where the higher brackets will be subsidising the lower brackets and some free spaces. Please pay what you feel you can afford to, and please get in touch if you would like a free space or know someone who would.

All money after costs will go to the wonderful Hydra Books, a volunteer run bookshop that stocks some great radical literature and provides space for meetings, gigs and other events.
For more info about Hydra, we recommend going down to the shop in Old Market, or just have a look at their website: https://www.hydrabooks.org/

Thanks to Headfirst Bristol all of the cost of the booking fee from this event will also be donated to Hydra Books.

About us:
Bringing delicious, affordable vegan feasts to you – Pitchfork Cafe host regular nights in different venues around Bristol and the surrounding area and promote tasty plant based food and community eating.
We like to cook food with ingredients that are bountiful and seasonal; foraging and using fresh ingredients and experimenting with flavours whilst avoiding pretentious menus!
We’ve developed our love for food and communal eating in varied settings: from cafes and restaurants such as Roll for the Soul and Bell’s Diner, to drag themed performances dinners and field kitchens that are feeding thousands of hungry activists.
Any profits made after costs are donated to grassroots projects and organising.
