Welcome to Shift Bristol’s Twilight Talks.

Our latest programme of evening events – a range of insightful and inspirational evening talks and performances from some of the leading lights in permaculture and sustainability. As well as an educational experience, this is a chance to meet others in our vibrant permaculture community. Each talk is held in a community setting, all venues are wheelchair accessible, and a donation of £5 is suggested at the door, although no-one will be turned away if they can’t afford to pay.

From permaculture in disaster zones, to no dig market gardening, small-scale food production post Brexit to Land Worker’s Alliance policy work to a one-woman play on how coal mining has affected a community, Twilight Talks will touch on many areas of interest and aspects of sustainability.  Come to one or all of the events, running throughout November, December and January.

Shift Bristol’s Twilight Talks presents: An evening with Ed Hamer

Wednesday 7th December – 7:30 – 9pm at The Old Library, Muller Road, Eastville, Bristol BS5 6XP

Ed runs a thriving producer-led market garden in Devon, Chagfood CSA, and is a passionate grower, using a traditional, low-carbon approach, harnessing the power of horses.  Ed will also be talking to us about The Landworkers’ Alliance & their policy work post Brexit in trying to get more support for small scale ecological producers.

£5 suggested donation (pay what you can afford, all welcome)
