Bad Day at Black Rock is a 1955 American thriller directed by John Sturges and starring Spencer Tracy and Robert Ryan that combines elements of the Western genre with that of film noir. The film tells the story of a mysterious stranger who arrives at a tiny isolated town in a desert of the outhwest United States in search of a man. Greeted with hostility and indifference our one-armed hero has to box clever to unearth dark secrets. A powerful movie with a stellar cast.
