On Friday January 26th, The Old Library Film night will be showing The Warriors, part of the “You Wanna Be In My Gang” theme for January – March 2018!

Every last Friday of the month, you can come and join others at the Old Library, relax, bring your own drinks and food if you like, and enjoy a film in the cosy space! Make the night your own, cushions, blankets, chairs…. and it’s free to come along (though as with everything at the Old Library, donations are hugely welcome to help us towards new equipment and activities!)

Synopsis

New York City: Delegates from a hundred gangs have gathered in the Bronx, waiting anxiously to hear the words of Cyrus, charismatic leader of the Gramercy Riffs. Our heroes, the Warriors, listen patiently as Cyrus whips this conclave into a frenzy with his plan to take over the streets, one borough at a time. Everything goes wrong when Luther, leader of the Rogues, shoots Cyrus and blames the Warriors. Now being pursued by every gang and every cop in the city, they must fight their way home to Coney Island….
