Veganism and Permaculture: A Shift Bristol Evening

Date(s) - 07/06/2017
6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

There are many approaches to permaculture, a movement that encourages diversity of opinion and imaginative thinking. Join us for a lively evening of social interactions, refreshing points of view and open discussion with Graham Burnett.
How can we design permaculture systems without using animals?
Why might we want to? In urban environments, permaculture systems often favour alternatives to livestock, so is this as controversial a subject as many think?

We’ll explore land management, fertility and food production as well as the ethics of the growing veganic and stock-free permaculture movement.
Come along and celebrate an inclusive and creative gathering for anyone interested in sustainability and exchanging ideas.
6:30 Potluck – please bring a vegan dish to share
7:30 Vegan Permaculture Talk with Graham Burnett
8:30 Q & A, discussion & hangout
£3 suggested donation, pay what you can afford.
You can find more information on the Shift website and there’s also a Facebook event if you would like to share, invite friends and spread the word.
We hope to see you there!
