Get Voting for us in the Aviva Community Fund!

Fantastic news – The Old Library has got through to the voting round in the Aviva Community Fund!

You can vote for us here – https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/17-5054

We are hoping to fund a series of bi-monthly workshops and talks to increase skill levels and knowledge in the South Lockleaze and Purdown area, to be held at The Old Library over the period of a year.

The workshop series will include healthy, low cost cookery workshops, up cycling and craft workshops, gardening and bushcraft, and wellbeing events. These workshops will be free to attend for the local community, with the intention of increasing access for those on lower incomes to life enhancing events, and helping support local people who would struggle to get access to similar events elsewhere.

We would love for you to vote for the Old Library project to help us make 2018 a success! If we get awarded this fantastic pot of funds, we will be discussing with local people what they would like to see, and chatting with local providers and individuals living in the neighbourhood to keep the funds in the immediate area as much as possible and improve the neighbourhood as a whole!

What can you do?

  • Vote!
  • Share, tweet & post
  • Let your neighbours & family know
  • Send an email out to those who may help
  • Chat to work colleagues and if allowed, send an email out to your work teams to encourage them to vote too!

Please get voting, sharing & lets make 2018 a fantastic year for the whole neighbourhood and beyond.
